Acquisitions

We buy to run, not to flip.

Our family held its first aerospace company into its sixtieth year. We ran the second for seven and stayed on its successor's board for four more. If you've spent a career building a shop, that's the kind of buyer you're probably hoping exists.

What we're looking for

Fit over size.

We acquire aerospace MRO businesses, FAA-certificated repair and overhaul capability with a real customer base, and precision-manufacturing companies that complement Cherry Creek Machine: machining, finishing, and processes that belong under one roof with ours.

We don't publish revenue or EBITDA criteria, because we don't screen that way. What matters: certificated capability, customers who stay, and people worth keeping. A $4M shop with the right ratings and the right hands interests us more than a $40M shop without them.

Geography favors Oklahoma and the region around it, but capability travels, make the case.

Why sellers talk to us

We've sat where you're sitting.

We've been the seller, to a Berkshire Hathaway company and to private equity. We know what it feels like to hand over something with your family's name on it, and what a seller actually worries about: the people, the customers, the name on the building, and whether the buyer means what they say.

We move with our own capital: no fund, no LPs, no investment committee. A conversation with us is a conversation with the people who will own and run the business. And your shop wouldn't be absorbed into an anonymous platform: it would join a family operation that is actively investing in machinery, technology, and people, with a new campus rising to prove it.

How it works

Three steps, no theater.

STEP 01

Write to us.

A few lines about your business: what it does, roughly what it earns, why you're thinking about a transition. No banker required, no deck required. Everything stays confidential.

STEP 02

Talk to the owners.

If there's a fit, you'll talk directly with the people who would own and operate the business, not an associate running a screen. We'll tell you quickly and honestly if we're not the right buyer.

STEP 03

Decide without pressure.

If it moves forward, we work at your pace, with terms in plain language. And if it doesn't, you've lost an hour and gained a straight answer, sellers we've passed on still call us back.

If you own a shop and are thinking about what's next.

When you write, it goes to the owners, it stays confidential, and you'll hear back within days, not quarters.
